Matt Hardy & Rockstar Spud Backstage Segment:
Spud is in the backstage area awaiting the arrival of Matt Hardy. Matt calls Spud his number one man tells Spud that he’s proud of him. Hardy gives Spud a big hug and Reby says that she’s proud of him as well. Tyrus pats Spud in the chest and the Matt Hardy Brand walks away.
First Match: Kurt Angle vs. Bobby Roode in a Kurt Angle Farewell Tour Match
Roode and Angle lock up. Roode with a side headlock, Angle whips Roode to the ropes. Roode with a shoulder tackle to Angle. Angle connects with a hip toss followed by a armdrag. Angle applies a wrist lock on Roode. Roode and Angle get trapped in the corner. Angle with another armdrag to Roode and applies an armbar. Roode with a knee to the midsection of Angle. Angle with a boot to the chest of Roode. Roode with high knee to Angle for a one count. Roode with a suplex and transitions into a front suplex. Roode with the chin lock to Angle. Angle with elbows to the stomach of Roode. Roode with a boot to the face of Angle. Both men are down as Angle and Roode knock each other down with a double clothesline.
Angle connects with five german suplex’s to Roode. Angle sets up for the Angle Slam, but Roode escapes from the fireman’s carry position. Roode goes for the Roode Bomb, but Angle gets Roode in the Ankle Lock. Roode sends Angle shoulder first to the steel ring post. Roode school boys Angle for a two count. Roode locks in the cross face submission hold to Angle. Angle counters out and gets Roode back into the Ankle Lock. Roode rolls through and gets Angle back into the cross face. Angle is showing fatigue, but Angle rolls Roode over for a two count. Angle goes for a clothesline, but Roode locks in the cross face for the third time. Angle escapes the hold and connects with the Angle Slam for a two count. The straps are down. Angle goes for a Ankle Lock, but Roode counters with a enziguri to the back of Angle’s head. Roode connects with a Roode Bomb to Angle for a two count. Roode goes for another Roode Bomb, but Angle gets Roode trapped in the Ankle Lock and Roode finally taps out.
Winner: Kurt Angle via Submission
