Steve Austin Talks Difficulty of WWE Selling Out ‘Mania, Lesnar Participating More in WWE, Praises Kevin Owens and Neville, More

WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin was recently interviewed by Rolling Stone, and below are some highlights.

On WWE wanting to sellout AT&T Stadium for WrestleMania 32, Austin admitted that it will be tough for WWE to achieve that goal, as the PPV does sell itself in a certain way, but you still need main event players to get the number of fans WWE wants.

On talents who have stepped up in WWE, Austin mentions Kevin Owens and Neville. With regards to Brock Lesnar, Austin says he would like to see Lesnar participate more regularly in WWE so he can build a better relationship with the crowd. In a related note, Austin had the following to say about the feeling of entering through the curtain at a WWE live event:

“Goddang, I’ll tell you what. When you walk out, and that f–king glass breaks, and those motherf–kers jump out of their seats, there ain’t nothin’ like that in the world. As drunk as I ever got, nothing touches that feeling. In my life, what replaces that or comes close? Nothing.”
