William Regal announces that next week Sami Zayn and Samoa Joe will face off in a two-out-of-three falls match to decide who will be the number on contender for the NXT title. Regal also notes that NXT has just signed their next big star. That person will arrive next week.
Apollo Crews vs Christopher Girard
Girard immediately charges Crews. Crews rebuffs his attack and responds with a drop kick. Girard lands a few elbow strikes. Crews falls to one knee. Girard hits the ropes and almost decapitates Crews with a running European uppercut. Girard locks in a side headlock. Crews tries to stand up out of it, but Girard flips him over and continues to wrench in the side headlock.
Girard transitions into a rear chin lock. Crews stands up with Girard on his back. Crews falls backwards and crushes Girard on the mat. Girard gets back body dropped to the apron but lands on his feet. Crews clocks Girard with a standing high enzguri. Crews picks up Girard from the outside and lands the atomic power bomb for the win.

Backstage, Bayley tell Carmella that one day she will make a great champion. Carmella pushed her to her limit last week. Tonight Carmella will take out her frustrations on Eva Marie and Nia Jax. When asked about Asuka involvement last week Bayley says Asuka made her intentions known. Asuka clearly wants the NXT Women’s title.
