Chris Jericho & AJ Styles In-Ring Segment:
Jericho says that Miz is a great performer, but he didn’t get the job done tonight. Jericho tells AJ Styles to come down to the ring, so he can hear Jericho’s decision. Jericho knows why Styles challenged him to a rematch. Jericho says that in the WWE there’s saying that you are only as good as your last match. Jericho mentions that in their last match he defeated Styles. Jericho says that Styles is trying to make a name for himself by challenging Jericho to a rematch. Jericho tells Styles to make a name for himself, but it won’t be at the expense of Jericho.
Jericho says that he respect Styles more then any competitor in the WWE. Jericho says that he respect Styles, but he doesn’t like him. Jericho says that he’s not going to do him any favors. Jericho declines Styles offer for a rematch at FastLane. Styles asks Jericho if there’s nothing he can do to change Jericho’s mind? Jericho says no. Styles proceeds to land a series of right hands to Jericho. Styles sends Jericho to the outside. Jericho grabs the mic and says that Styles made a stupid move. Styles wants Jericho at FastLane right? Jericho tells Styles that he got it. Jericho says that Styles is going to regret it.
Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Paul Heyman Backstage Segment:
Reigns and Ambrose go over their game plan for the Dudley Boyz tonight. Ambrose says that it’s been a long week, and just wants to get in the ring and get his mind right. Reigns says not to pull that dirty deeds stuff again, and Ambrose asks if he can take a joke. Ambrose then runs into Heyman, messes with him a bit and Heyman says he has respect for Reigns and also feels he needs to tell Ambrose that Lesnar is here tonight. Lesnar is also in a really bad mood, and is looking for Ambrose. Ambrose asks Heyman for advice. Ambrose then says he’ll figure it out on his own and to tell Lesnar not to make him wait this time.
