Kurt Angle Suffers Injury Scare During UK Tour
According to PWInsider.com, Kurt Angle was said to be in bad shape after his match against Drew Galloway this past Friday night in the UK. The match was taped for Angle’s TNA Farewell Tour, and there was fear that Angle had suffered a concussion during the match. About 35 minutes after the bout, Angle began to feel better and was eventually cleared by TNA’s medical staff to compete against Bobby Roode last night. Angle will finish out his farewell tour, and his deal with TNA, in a match against Bobby Lashley. That match was taped earlier tonight in Birmingham.
The Latest on Del Rio’s Condition
As noted, Alberto Del Rio has been suffering from a back injury, apparently after taking a suplex from Brock Lesnar in the WWE Royal Rumble match.
Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live that Del Rio might actually be suffering from a neck injury, and he will be evaluated by doctors at Raw tomorrow in Alabama.
