According to Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com, former WWE Champion Dave “Batista” Bautista was in Orlando last Sunday for the Royal Rumble PPV, and met with Vince McMahon backstage at the event.
McMahon reportedly wants Batista to make a one-off appearance at WrestleMania 32 this year in Dallas, but in a non-wrestling capacity. Despite Batista listening to the pitch, however, it’s being said The Animal initially passed on the offer, but the door was left open for creative to pitch other ideas on possibly using Batista at the big event this year.
