TNA President Dixie Carter has announced that Jeff Hardy has re-signed with the company.
Hardy’s current TNA deal is set to expire in the next few months, and following the WWE return of The Dudley Boyz, there was speculation that Jeff and Matt Hardy would also be returning to WWE following their TNA runs. Jeff’s new deal will reportedly last for the rest of the year.
On the January 26, episode of Impact Wrestling, Hardy issued a challenge to his brother Matt for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, as the match was set to begin he was attacked by Eric Young and Bram. Hardy was later piledriven through a table by Young and sent to a hospital.
Jeff Hardy previously made his TNA in-ring return on March 15th, 2015, confronting Eric Young in a winning effort in a match to determine the third challenger for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at the main-event of the show.
In related news, The Wolves also re-signed with TNA, and that deal was announced yesterday.
