Earlier this week, UFC President Dana White revealed that CM Punk will likely fight Mickey Gall in his debut UFC fight, but during an appearance on “Toucher & Rich” White revealed that Punk probably won’t be fighting at the big UFC 200 event.

“The CM Punk fight is probably going to be in June. UFC 199 is what I’m thinking”, said White.

As for how well CM Punk will fare in the UFC and MMA in general, White offered the following comment, comparing him to fellow former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar:

“You know [CM Punk] has never fought, he’s just started training and, you know… this is a tough business to get into [laughs]. When Brock Lesnar came into the UFC, you know, he had a serious wrestling pedigree. And not just WWE wrestling, legit collegiate wrestling. CM Punk doesn’t have any of that. It’s going to be tough for him.”

In related news, Dana White also revealed earlier this week that former Champion Ronda Rousey will not be fighting at UFC 200 due to her commitments filming the movie “Roadhouse.”
