Big Update on POP TV Changes
Comcast, which is the nation’s largest cable provider servicing over 112 million people, this week officially announced that POP, CMT and Spike TV will be moving to a premium tier package in select areas. This means POP TV on Comcast will be offered in the same way Destination America was, so if you are not subscribed to the premium package you will be unable to watch TNA programming.
On the plus side, Variety.com is reporting POP TV President Brad Schwartz announced at the Television Critics Association press tour this week that the channel will grow its subscriber base by close to 8 million homes in the next few months.
