As noted earlier, WWE Diva Natalya mentioned on Twitter she was on her way to tonight’s NXT tapings, but it was unknown if she was working a match.
Natalya ended up working a match against Becky Lynch before the main NXT show tapings; the match was taped for the reported NXT Kids show.
Roman Reigns
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Roman Reigns’ title win last month was the first time since 1999 that a babyface had won the WWE Championship in a singles match on Raw. The last time it happened was June 28, 1999, when Steve Austin beat Undertaker.
John Cena
While John Cena was not seen on the show, he was backstage at RAW this week, as the WWE Community Twitter account posted photos of him meeting a fan for Circle of Champions:
