Hulk Hogan
WWE commentator JBL was talking about The Undertaker’s legacy on RAW this week, and mentioned that Taker won his first WWE Championship (24 years ago this week at Survivor Series 1991 on November 27th). JBL said Undertaker won his first of seven titles from “the Immortal One”, instead of saying Hulk Hogan’s name.
Hogan’s name and image has been largely omitted from WWE content since his racist comments controversy this summer; he is still not listed on the WWE Hall of Fame website and is pretty much absent from the WWE Network. While WWE has been making effort to keep Hogan’s name off of programming, Hogan himself poked a little fun at the references to his nickname:
