Michael Cole was announced as taking over the role of general manager until William Regal returns from his recent neck surgery.
Cole was present during the beginning of the tapings, seen in the ring for a contract signing between Finn Balor and Samoa Joe. Cole has been seen at several tapings in the past, usually helping off-camera with the commentary team.
