ROH Title Match Added to New Japan Tokyo Dome Show

cm punk According to PWInsider.com, at last night’s Ring of Honor Survival of the Fittest event, Michael Elgin won the Survival of the Fittest tournament to earn a Ring of Honor Title shot.

Elgin got on the mic after his win and said he wants his title shot in Japan, and word backstage at the ROH show is that Jay Lethal will defend the ROH title at New Japan’s big Wrestle Kingdom Tokyo Dome show on 1/4/16.

Dana White Provides Update on When CM Punk Might Have His First UFC Fight

During last night’s UFC 193 post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White was asked when CM Punk might have his debut UFC fight. White said Punk’s first bout will likely come before the summer of 2016, and White also asked that people give Punk time to properly train for his UFC debut.

“He’ll fight…I’m going to say before summer. Probably before summer,” said White. “Listen, he doesn’t have any fights yet, man. Let him take his time and work his way in.”

Punk signed with UFC back on December 6th, 2014, and has been training at the Roufusport MMA Academy in Milwaukee.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
