Steve Austin Says Rollins’ Injury Can Create Opportunities for Other Stars

steve austinWWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin spoke with Troy Hughes of 105.3 THE FAN Dallas/Ft. Worth at last night’s WrestleMania 32 ticket party, and while Austin says that it’s both bad and sad that Seth Rollins is injured and will be out for 6-9 months, he related it to when he was out for over a year, and his absence helped create The Rock and Triple H. Austin had the following to say:

“These guys in waiting that have been thinking if they had a shot, now is their chance to seize that opportunity. It’s sink or swim now, and they’re going to get an opportunity that they normally wouldn’t have had coming.”

WWE Makes Tour Roster Changes Following Rollins Injury

Seth Rollins’ injury has forced WWE to alter the roster for its current European tour. Both Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens have been moved to the half of the tour originally scheduled to be headlined by Rollins.

According to PlanetAWrestling, Ryback will now be teaming with The Usos to face Luke Harper, Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan. Previously Owens was facing Ryback in singles matches, and Ambrose was teaming with The Usos.
