The gist of the new project will be Jarrett’s team visiting indy promotions around the country to scout talent. Talents will be asked to submit audition tapes, and of the pool about 30-50 talents will be selected to begin the process.
Competitions will take place at smaller venues across the country, with finalists from the smaller markets then competing against each other at the major market events in cities such as Las Vegas, New York City and Orlando.
With regards to the competitions, wrestlers will perform in the ring in front of a three-judge panel, and if the judges don’t like something about a match, they can end the bout with the pressing of a buzzer button.
After the competition part of the show has concluded and the winners have been selected, the idea is to then do a tour with the winners of the competition, some of the finalists and a few established wrestlers that have been with bigger promotions like WWE or TNA, or Japan.
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
