Colin Cassady
According to the Wrestling Observer, NXT star Colin Cassady is expected to be out of action for several weeks.
It’s still not known exactly what type of injury Cassady is dealing with, but he did appear at this weekend’s NXT live events on crutches with an apparent leg injury.
Jim Cornette
It was previously reported that although Brock Lesnar didn’t give a straight answer about his infamous shooting star press attempt at Wrestlemania 19, it was John Laurinaitis who suggested he do the move.
Lesnar had been reported to have successfully performed the move several times while in Ohio Valley Wrestling, and Jim Cornette added his take on the spot earlier today. Cornette said (via Twitter) that while he was still with the company he told Brock to save the move for a big moment, and posted the following:
Since it’s a topic–I told @BrockLesnar to not do shooting star in front of hundreds in gyms in OVW, save your knees, wait for a big moment.
“Big moment” was Wrestlemania, which is only time out of at least a dozen times that he didn’t nail it perfectly, he put Kurt too far out!
I saw it coming a mile away on TV but Brock didn’t get my telepathy, went up and tried it anyway. That’s why they call it “high-risk”!
