Nia Jax vs Evie
Evie locks up with Jax, but Jax sends her flying to the other side of the ring. Evie hits the ropes and gets caught in a bear hug. Evie wiggles out and tries a sunset flip, but Jax grabs her by the throat and slams her. Evie hits a few kicks, which just annoy Jax. Jax picks Evie up and hits a modified sidewalk slam for the win.
Winner- Nia Jax
Eva Marie sends the NXT universe a video post card. She tells us she is sorry she couldn’t bee there tonight. After all of her grueling matches she decided she needed to take some “me time” in Paris.
NXT Title Number One Contenders Battle Royal
As soon as the bell rings Rhyno, Corbin, and The Mechanics attack Joe. Corbin tosses Joe over the top, but Joe hangs on the apron. All four men try to kick Joe off but he manages to punch his way back in the ring. Bodies are all over the place. Apollo Crews eliminates Steve Cutler, Danny Birch, and Elias Sampson. Johnny Gargano charges at Crews, but Crews picks him up in an atomic drop position and tosses him over the top rope on to everyone else he just eliminated.
Big Cass is eliminated by The Mechanics, but Enzo runs up and eliminates them both for eliminating his partner. Enzo is dumped over the top by Tye Dillinger. Bull Dempsey punches Dillinger a few times before dumping him over the top as well. Rhyno and Corbin manage to toss out Dempsey, and then they toss out Mojo Rawley. Corbin grabs Zach Ryder off the top rope and tosses him out with ease. While Rhyno has his back turned, Corbin throws him out. Rhyno looks stunned.
Joe uranage suplexs Tommaso Ciampa over the top rope. Joe tosses out Blake and Murphy at the same time. Joe Big boots Tyler Breeze over the top rope. The final three are Joe, Corbin, and Crews. Joe almost hits the muscle buster on Corbin, but Corbin reverses it. Corbin sends Joe out to the apron, but Joe’s feet don’t hit the floor. Tyler Breeze walks over and pulls Joe off the apron to eliminate him. Corbin and Crews trade power moves. Corbin tosses Crews out twice but each time Crews hangs on.
Crews goes for his standing Moonsault, but Corbin gets his knees up. Corbin almost hits his boss man slam, but Crews reverses it and hits three enzguris then a clothesline to eliminate Corbin.
Winner and NEW Number One Contender for the NXT Title- Apollo Crews
