News on Tonight’s WWE TV Tapings

Tonight, WWE will tape this week’s editions of Smackdown and Main Event from the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Already announced for Smackdown this week is Dean Ambrose and The Dudley Boyz vs The New Day. Other Superstars advertised for tonight include Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Bray Wyatt and Rusev.

Coachman Talks Rollins on ESPN

As noted, WWE World Champion Seth Rollins will be appearing on the 9pm EST live edition of ESPN’s SportsCenter, and Jonathan Coachman Tweeted the following:

Back in the summer a video was leaked on Vimeo, then quickly deleted, featuring a pilot for a show with the working title “WWE NXT Kids”. The pilot featured children interviewing talents and doing commentary with Corey Graves.

WWE Issues Casting Call for New NXT Kids Show

It appears as if WWE is indeed moving forward with the show, as the following casting breakdown was recently posted on Backstage.com:

PRODUCTION DESCRIPTION: WWE NXT is casting a pilot for a new wrestling show aimed at kids.

REHEARSAL AND PRODUCTION DATES & LOCATIONS: Production will be taking place monthly on Thursday nights at Full Sail University in Orlando, FL.

SEEKING TALENT: Males & Females, ages 7-14, All Ethnicities

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Announcers & Interviewers: (Supporting) with high energy. Must be personable, lively, quick on their feet and a good talker. Kids should have an understanding/familiarity with WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment programming. Kids will be acting as announcers/backstage interviewers/presenters.
