The Latest on Bo Dallas Getting a New Gimmick

As noted, WWE star Bo Dallas teased in a backstage promo on Smackdown this past Friday night that changes might be coming to his WWE character.

We also noted that Dallas debuted a new finishing maneuver on Smackdown, and he did not use the Bo-Dog during his match.

According to Bryan Alvarez, Dallas is indeed in line for a new gimmick in WWE, however, details of the gimmick are scarce at this time. In his Smackdown promo, Dallas said he thought it was “really funny” when he attacked R-Truth after their match, and that fans are going to see a more “humorous” side of Bo Dallas, so that could be a sign of where he is headed.

Backstage News on Lana’s Training

As noted, WWE Diva Lana revealed yesterday that she suffered a hand injury while training which will keep her sidelined for a few months. She noted the following in her statement:

“Every since I have debuted in @wwe I have continued to go to @wwenxt & come hours early before live events to train & learn how to fight.”

According to Bryan Alvarez, however, a WWE source contacted him after Lana released her statement and said Lana has not been seen at the WWE Performance Center in “forever.” Lana also rarely attends WWE NXT live events, and if she and Rusev are still indeed an off-screen couple they live in Nashville, making it hard for her to train in Orlando during her downtime. It is possible Lana was working a training storyline, and was not actually training in real life.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
