TNA Knockouts Champion recently did an interview with Muscle & Fitness, during which she spoke about the current roster of Knockouts in TNA. The following are some highlights:
On Madison Rayne:
When asked to describe Madison Rayne, Brooke shares her insight that she’s perhaps the most under-rated performer of the bunch. That’s quite a compliment from a current champion, and suggests that the self-proclaimed ‘Queen of professional wrestling’ may be one to keep an eye on.
On Gail Kim:
Brooke tells us that Gail is the “toughest” and “most competitive” knockout that she has ever stepped inside the ropes with. Indeed, most wrestling fans would argue that Gail is the number one female wrestler in the world.
On Jade and Marti Bell:
“Jade is just so strong,” says Brooke. “Marti Bell is a tough New Yorker who is turning heads and rising through the ranks, and Taryn [Terrell] is an established superstar.”
On injuries in the ring:
“Some of my model friends think I’m crazy,” says Brooke. “They can’t believe how hard we get hit, or how high we jump off the ropes, but they have lots of respect for what we do. I’ve had all kinds of injuries. I have played a lot of sports and wrestling is just as physical as rugby. I’ve broken my hand. We really take it to each other out there.”
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
