Updated: How WWE Transported Sting into the Ring on WWE Raw This Week and Why His Face Paint Was Smeared

sting vs rollins According to PWInsider.com, the idea of Sting vs Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions was something officials finalized a few days before SummerSlam. The idea was brought up about a week ago, as there were original plans for Sting to be featured at SummerSlam this year.

As for the final segment on Raw this week, WWE crew members brought the statue box out on a forklift during a commercial break. Some of the lighting boards around the ring were then lifted to make way, and the covered box was brought into the ring.

According to reader Ant B., who attended Raw live, the crew then came down with 30+ and Sting was covered in the dark crouched with with a hoodie covering him so you could barely see him, which is why the paint on the top of his head was smeared, it was from the hoodie.

They snuck him into the statue box afterwards during the set up as they had a Bray Wyatt promo taking place on the big screen in the dark.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
