After the match, three men ran out and attacked Myzteziz. The announcers explained that two of the three were AAA Tag Champions Pentagon Jr. and Joe Lider along with Averno. Rey tried to help, but he lost the numbers game and they went for his mask.
They cut to highlights from the match. They went back to the ring where Mysterio and Myzteziz roughed up the heels and performed a double 619. Myzteziz took the stable gun that was brought out and used it on one of the heels. Mysterio and Myzteziz stood tall.
Hugo said the next pay-per-view will be on October 4. He encouraged viewers to call their providers to get them to carry the show. Striker said wrestling his hot and lucha libre is leading the way.
Mysterio started to speak to Myzteziz, who lowered his mask and spat a substance into Mysterio’s face. Myzteziz spoke in Spanish and apparently compared the fans to dogs. He wants a rematch and wants to bury Mysterio like the idol he claims to be. He challenged Mysterio to a mask vs. mask match.
Konnan was out and watched the angle play out at ringside. Myzteziz powerbombed Mysterio through the broadcast table, then punched out one of the referees. Konnan entered the ring and led a group of wrestlers in apparently attacking Mysterio, but they camera cut to the stage and a video package mercifully closed the show. Wait, not yet, we saw a clip of Konnan speaking in Spanish to Myzteziz briefly and then the show went off the air…
