Following last night’s semi-live edition of Impact Wrestling (it ran on a tape delay), TNA taped several matches and segments for next week’s show. This will be the first episode to air following Sunday’s TNA Slammiversary, so this is your last chance to avoid spoilers for the PPV.
(1) Magnus and Mickie James def. ‘The Cowboy’ James Storm and the returning Serena Deeb. It would appear Mickie’s whole “I got pushed onto the train tracks” thing wasn’t too serious after all.
(2) The BDC def. The Rising. This was a 4-on-3 handicap match.
(3) TNA Knockouts Champion Taryn Terrell def. Brooke Tessmacher and Awesome Kong in a triple threat match to retain the title. Unless they change the match to be non-title, Taryn wins at Slammiverary.
-Gail Kim made her return from storyline injury (at the hands of the Dollhouse), wearing some new gear, and stared down Taryn Terrell. This ends the 6/24 taping event.
