According to Deadline.com, Dwayne Johnson has been confirmed to star in the newly announced blockbuster Rampage, based off the classic arcade game by now-defunct Chicago company, Midway Games.
The Rock will be producing alongside Beau Flynn and New Line, who are still raking in money from this year’s San Andreas. Ryan Engle, who has a writing credit on Liam Neeson’s Non-Stop, will be working on the screenplay. Johnson is expected to start work on the film after production for Fast & Furious 8 next year.
