WWE NXT Taping Tonight
Just a reminder that WWE will be taping several weeks worth of NXT television at Full Sail University tonight. The taping is sold out, and we will have complete spoiler and non-spoiler coverage as soon as results become available.
One interesting note is that there are only two episodes left until the 4th of July WWE Network special where Kevin Owens will defend the NXT title against Finn Balor. It’s possible they could spoil the results of that match with the taping tonight, but they have also been known to work magic with taped segments, cutting in content from Raw and Smackdown, and they could always just keep the two off TV for the third and fourth episode relying on video packages and backstage segments they can tape without a live crowd.
TNA Pays Respect to Dusty Rhodes
The following is the tribute video for the ‘American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes that ran during this week’s TNA Impact Wrestling. Dusty had a run with TNA between 2003-2005, appearing on-screen and working matches for a number of their weekly PPV’s with names from Jeff Jarrett to AJ Styles, the Road Warriors, Ken Shamrock, James Storm and more. He was also briefly the head booker and writer for the promotion.
Diamond Dallas Page was among the many pro wrestlers at the Dream’s funeral, and posted a photo of himself with WWE Superstar Fandango.
