Jerry Lawler Talks Recent WWE DVD, “Dying on the Air” & More, Rey Mysterio Discusses Relationship w/ Eddie Guerrero (VIDEO)

New Jerry Lawler Interview

Scott Fishman of the Miami Herald has a new interview up with Jerry “The King” Lawler, promoting his new WWE documentary and match collection, “It’s Good To Be The King”. Lawler was impressed by how in-depth the producers on the project went into his life, in particular about his career as an artist.

“They even went as far back as talking to my high school art teacher. That was sort of what got me in and played a thread through not only my career, but life. My artistic talent and ability, I started drawing at a young age and basically wound up getting into the business with my drawings and caricatures of wrestlers later on. My high school art teacher is about 89 years old. She did a fabulous job. I was amazed that she was able to remember so much about me.”

King noted that it was sort of embarrassing watching the DVD back with his girlfriend, as there were dozens of people praising him and his accomplishments.

“I was kind of surprised at some of the WWE people and the things they had to say. It was very nice, and it made me feel very good, especially the things Vince McMahon said about me. I haven’t spoken to him about it yet, but have to go out of my way to thank him for saying those nice things about me on the DVD.”

Mysterio Talks Eddie Guerrero

In a seemingly random bit of promotion for the WWE Network, the official WWE YouTube account has published a clip from an interview with Rey Mysterio, talking about his relationship with Eddie Guerrero. The interview was conducted by Matt Striker of all people.
