More Backstage Details on Why WWE Took Time Off the WrestleMania Main Event, Who Was the Most Searched Name Coming Out of ‘Mania?

According to The Wrestling Observer, “WrestleMania 31” was the most searched phrase on Google for the night of the event.

Coming out of the show, the following names were the most searched on Google:

Ronda Rousey (100,000 searches)

The Undertaker (81,000 searches)

The Rock (56,000 searches)

Brock Lesnar (56,000)

Triple H (52,000)

Roman Reigns (48,000)

Seth Rollins (46,000)

John Cena (41,000)

Bray Wyatt (22,000)

Rusev (21,000)

Stephanie McMahon (15,000)

Randy Orton (13,000)

Hulk Hogan (10,000)

Daniel Bryan (6,000)

Kevin Nash (6,000)

Scott Hall (3,000)

Dolph Ziggler (2,000)

With regards to the main event of WrestleMania being cut short, WWE had to make up some time on the show because the Ronda Rousey/Rock segment went 24 minutes long. WWE was initially going to pull the time from the Bray Wyatt vs Undertaker match, but because the main event was going to be so physical, WWE officials felt it better to take time off that match so it would be a bit easier on Lesnar and Reigns.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
