Bray Wyatt’s cryptic trail of promos hit a fever pitch at FastLane. The Eater of Worlds imitation of Undertaker’s entrance, going as far as using the sacred druids, cemented the target of Wyatt’s ramblings. As if that blasphemous act wasn’t enough, Wyatt continued to call out The Dead Man on Raw and Smackdown, in what appears to now be a lock for WrestleMania.
This week’s Chair Shot Reality roundtable features Justin LaBar, Josh Isenberg, Brian Gulish, and Samantha Daley dissecting the Wyatt/Undertaker feud. The panel discusses the different booking directions the storyline could go, and who should leave Levi’s Stadium victorious.
A big topic of discussion is whether or not The Undertaker needs to appear on a televised show before WrestleMania. Isenberg points out Taker’s role in year’s past, and how history could play into the present storyline. LaBar notes the pressure placed on Wyatt to carry the program on his own. What does the panel think of Wyatt’s work so far?
The second elephant in the room is which superstar should go over at WrestleMania. Gulish hits on the effect two straight losses for Undertaker at WrestleMania could do to the prestige of the now broken streak, while Daley sees the program as a possible passing of the supernatural torch. The crew discusses both possibilities.
