As of this writing, aside from the Royal Rumble match, only two matches have been officially announced for the 2015 WWE Royal Rumble PPV. Those matches are Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and a match which will be announced on Smackdown tonight so we will not spoil it in this article.
Another match which is likely for the PPV is Nikki Bella vs. Natalya for the WWE Divas Championship.
With the Rumble match itself being such a lengthy match, and one with so many competitors involved, there’s a good possibility only one or two additional matches will end up being added to the card.
Matches such as Roman Reigns vs. Big Show and Ryback vs. Rusev have been discussed, however three of those four names have already been announced as Rumble participants, and nothing can be officially booked for Ryback until WWE wraps up the “firing” angle from last week’s Raw.
It should be noted that it’s not impossible for wrestlers who had matches earlier the night to appear in the Rumble match, as it has happened many times in the past.
