Michael Cole Missing from WWE Main Event Tonight, Ryback Teases Move to a New Channel

Cole Missing from Main Event

Michael Cole was notably absent from tonight’s episode of WWE Main Event. John Layfield replaced him on commentary alongside Tom Phillips, who did a fine job in the play-by-play position.

Unless plans change, Cole will be at tonight’s WWE Smackdown taping, as he was advertised as a part of the brand new Thursday night team alongside Jerry “The King” Lawler and Byron Saxton. It’s possible he could no longer be a part of the WWE Network exclusive show, but as of now no formal announcement has been made concerning Main Event’s Tuesday night future.

Ryback Moving to New Channel?

Continuing the ongoing WWE angle that saw Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan all “fired” by the Authority, the self-proclaimed “Big Guy” is teasing that he and his new ring gear may show up on another channel.

KILLAM: And in a shocking turn of events, Ryback currently has 25 tweets on his account that haven’t been deleted. A first for the former almost WWE Champion.
