lucha undergroundLucha Underground crowned its first ever World Heavyweight Champion in Prince Puma (aka Ricochet) this past week. Puma won an incredible 55-minute Aztec Warfare match outlasting 19 other men and women. The promotion is working on signing several new talents, and will be holding more television tapings in the coming weeks.

-The updated list of Royal Rumble match participants

-A complete list of Chris Jericho’s WWE live dates, per his brand new contract. 

Triple H was inducted into a Hall of Fame recently… 

Jerry Lawler was hospitalized last week and taken off Monday Night Raw. In a major shift, Booker T will replace the King full-time on Monday nights, while Lawler will go to Thursdays to cover WWE Smackdown. 

-Former WWE ECW star Tim Roberts (aka “The Zombie”) was found dead at 38. RIP. 

-According to at least one report, the plans for the WrestleMania main event this year is still up in the air, and the WWE brass is still “evaluating” the roster to see who most deserves the spot. 

-Some speculation (by me) on WrestleMania 2017 or 2018 being held at the new Vikings Stadium in Minneapolis
