All the heels from last week’s main event attack kick off tonight’s show – MVP, Kenny King, Samoa Joe, Low Ki and Eric Young. We’re told there’s possibly a new Knockout with them, or at least there’s a woman in some role with the group. MVP names them the BDC, short for “Beatdown Clan”. Eric Young is the one getting all the heat, and he tells the crowd he no longer cares what anyone thinks of him. He says he hates Bobby Roode after having to watch him walk around with a title that once belonged to him. MVP calls out the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, but Kurt Angle comes out instead. Angle goes straight after Samoa Joe and it turns out that’s our first match.
(1) Samoa Joe def. Kurt Angle. The BDC caused a referee bump and Joe hit Angle with a low blow.
The BDC rushed the ring after the bell to attack Angle, but Bobby Roode ran down and chased them all off. Roode grabs a chair and parks himself in the middle of the ring. He says “this crap has gone too far” – possibly referencing the 12 times a heel faction has formed to screwed over a babyface champion in TNA, but probably not – and promises to make EY pay for his sins by the end of the night.
