WWE Attendance Stats for 2014 Compared to Last Year
The following are some recent WWE live event statistics for 2014, compared to last year, as reported by The Wrestling Observer. The stats tally live event ticket sales from September, October and November of 2014, as well as stats from the 2014 WWE European tour.
-In September, WWE’s domestic live events averaged 4,575 tickets sold per event, which is down from 5,063 per event in September 2013.
-In October, WWE’s domestic live events averaged 5,239 tickets sold per event, which is up from 4,389 per event in October 2013.
-In November, WWE’s domestic live events averaged 3,710 tickets sold per event, which is down from 4,957 per event in November 2013.
-The WWE European tour back in November averaged 6,171 tickets sold per event with 21 shows in 2014, compared to 5,300 per event for 26 shows in 2013 and 5,600 per event with 23 shows in 2012.
The increase can be attributed to some new larger buildings that have opened and fewer shows in smaller arenas.
