Steve Austin Interviews Vince McMahon

Steve Austin asks Vince McMahon how the WWE Network is doing and he answers that it is “doing great.” Vince also says that the first of the year is hopefully the launch date from the WWE Network in the UK.
Vince compares it to Netflix and says it takes time to build content and give the fans what they want. Austin counters with if Vince is in tune with what the fans want. McMahon says that this is sports entertainment, not wrestling. Austin talks about wrestling and tying his boots. McMahon says the whole night is a story and that not all stories and matches hit.
What does Steve Austin Want To See?
Vince said he liked tonight’s show and Austin talks about how tough three hours live are. He talks about how many people it takes and making sure the performers are right. Austin says he wants to see in-ring action, more wrestling. Austin says the first segment takes too long to set the hook. Vince’s response says that they need to build the stories and people want to care about the outcome.
Stone Cold says that there is a different vibe and he says people are scared to piss people off. Vince says that they shouldn’t piss people off. He says that some guys are not ambitious, but guys like Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns are guys who are reaching for the brass ring. Vince says that some guys are insecure and do not want to fail. He says social media helps people and helps talent.
He asks what Vince is looking for in a wrestler. He says someone who has charisma, who can learn, who has skills and having the passion for the business. He says with those tools they can build and have themselves a star. Vince says that the audience can make them a star.
