12/1 Wrestlezone Recap: CM Punk Takes Over the Internet, Sting Debuts, Daniel Bryan as General Manager, Plus More of Last Week’s Biggest Wrestling Headlines

cm punkThe biggest wrestling related news story this past week – and really the ONLY story, since it’s all everyone has been talking about – was the tell-all interview between CM Punk and Colt Cabana on “The Art of Wrestling” podcast Thursday morning. This brought out so much news, from Punk’s infamous walk-out, to the revelation that he’d been fired on his wedding day, to the lazy WWE doctor that almost killed him, to Ryback backing up his threatened masculinity via Twitter rampage (which he of course deleted).

The company of course put out a politically correct statement backing up their wellness program, and we’re all eagerly awaiting Vince McMahon’s presence on The Steve Austin Show this Monday night to see if he mentions this potential P.R. train-wreck in any way, shape or form.

OH, also…

So there’s about a bunch of WWE related links for you. It was a pretty insane week, and probably the most interesting one since the WrestleMania 30 fallout, although for completely different reasons.
