UFC Legend Frank Mir Doesn’t Like Brock Lesnar; Wants a “Rubber Match”, WWE Posts Flo Rida Performance at WrestleMania (Video)

Frank Mir Slams Brock Lesnar

Undertaker vs Brock LesnarFormer UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir was recently interviewed by a Brazilian MMA website called Combate, and had a lot to say about the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. Mir noted that he would welcome Lesnar back to the UFC, and entertained the idea of a “rubber match” between the two.

“I think that his come back would be good for MMA. He’s still popular, people know who he is and he brings attention. We are tied with one win each. I would enjoy a rubber match. I would like to welcome him back to the UFC.”

Mir went on to say that while he respected fighters like Antonio Nogueira, despite facing off several times in the octagon, he doesn’t like Brock Lesnar “as a person”.

KILLAM: Lesnar vs. Mir II is the biggest PPV draw in UFC history, so there’s probably money to be made from a rubber match. Mir is on a 4-fight losing streak, and I don’t see that reversing itself in the next two years. There’s two guys I think are a better fit. Give him a return match against Junior dos Santos, one of the best Heavyweights in the world, and make your truck load of cash. Then, if Brock shows he’s still capable of fighting, you book the rematch against Cain Velasquez and break the PPV record.
