Big Tag Match Advertised for Raw Tomorrow
The official website of the Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL, site of tomorrow night’s Raw broadcast, is advertising John Cena and Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins and Randy Orton. The match has not been announced by WWE for TV, so it’s likely the bout will be the dark match main event for the night.
As we reported earlier in the week, however, current plans are calling for Cena vs Ambrose to open Hell in a Cell, with the winner facing Seth Rollins and the loser facing Randy Orton. So the tag match could be the beginning of WWE getting to that eventual angle.
Tag Champ Misses Live Event
WWE Tag Team Champion Goldust was off live events this weekend as he’s vacationing with his family in Hawaii.
Another Name for Kofi Stable
In an update to our earlier post, Xavier Woods noted on Instagram that he’s calling the group of him, Kofi Kingston and Big E “Speed Force.”
In a separate post, he is also referring to the group as Smart Athletic Friends, so it appears as if each combination of the three might have their own nickname.
Most recently, the group has been working as babyfaces so it appears as if that might be the direction WWE is going with the group.
Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.
