NXTWWE is expected to keep using stand-out NXT stars as a part of their regular Raw and Smackdown shows going forward, at least for the near future. Sami Zayn and Tyler Breeze will both be with the main roster crew for the next few weeks, beefing up the live roster heading into Night of Champions, and NXT Champion Adrian Neville is expected to stick around until October. All three were a part of this weekend’s WWE Live event crews, as were former tag team champions The Ascension.

Huge Impact Taping Event This Week

The last Impact Wrestling television taping events currently on the books are taking place this coming week. TNA will tape each day, Tuesday through Friday, which will actually put the company past the annual Bound for Glory PPV on October 12. The next scheduled events that TNA has listed are their January 2015 “Maximum Impact” tour in the UK.

A lot of the TNA production crew is finishing up with the company after this week’s events. Assuming they find a new network deal, the assumption is that many of them will be brought back, and the current “hiring freeze” will be lifted.

According to reports, the plan is to tape as much Impact as possible this week to stretch through the end of October. They’re current deal with Spike TV extends through the end of 2014, and the current belief is that if they run out of footage to use, there are plans to do special highlight and review episodes to close out the year. There will likely be one more TV taping mega-session added to the calendar for 2014.
