9/13 Lucha Underground TV Taping Notes: “Off the Charts” 3 Way Match, Update on Talent Visa Issues, New Name Appears & More *Spoilers*

lucha undergroundAccording to PWInsider.com, Lucha Underground taped another episode of TV in Los Angeles last night, and the following are some spoiler notes:

-There were some complaints that the last set of TV tapings were not “Lucha” enough, and apparently the creative team took those complaints to heart and worked their best to improve that aspect of the show last night. It should be noted that three of the top Lucha performers who were scheduled to be at the first set of tapings did not get their Visas approved in time and therefore did not make it to the tapings.

As we noted yesterday, Lucha Underground head of creative Chris DeJoseph received a lot of backstage praise for the way he handled production of the first shows despite the Lucha names not being able to attend the tapings. Those talents were Fenix Jr., Drago and Pentagon Jr., who all worked a three way match last night which was said to be “off the charts.”

-El Hija De Fantasma worked last night’s TV taping as a new Lucha Underground character.

-The company will tape another episode of the show tonight.
