WWE Smackdown Results (9/12) – International Arm Wrestling Contest, Jericho/Reigns vs Authority!

Chris Jericho joins Renee Young backstage to talk about what happened on RAW, and he says he took a lot of chances in his steel cage match with Bray Wyatt. He says he lost, but he lost on his terms because he pulled out all the stops, and that’s cool with him. He says what’s not cool is what Randy Orton did to him, and he’s going to vanquish the Viper, and Orton will never be the same again after Night of Champions.

The Miz & Damien Sandow vs Dolph Ziggler & R-Truth

Dolph introduces Truth as “R-Ziggler”, his stunt double for the night, and Truth comes out dressed like Dolph to mock Sandow’s ‘Mizdow’ gimmick. Dolph hits Sandow a few times and taunts Miz, then Truth and Dolph knock Sandow and Miz on the floor and taunt them as we go to a break. We get back to see Truth hit a few clotheslines, then he connects with some mounted punches before Sandow tries to interfere. Truth knocks him down and Miz kicks Truth in the face, then he kicks him again and makes a tag. Sandow hits Truth and Miz gets a few shots in, then he taunts the crowd until Truth hits a DDT. Dolph gets the tag and hits a Famouser but Miz breaks it up, then Truth hits a scissors kick and a Zig Zag for the win.

Winners – Dolph Ziggler & R-Truth

We see highlights of Jerry Springer on RAW, then Nikki Bella tells Byron Saxton that everyone finally got to see what she’s been putting up with. She says Jerry had to be stretchered out and couldn’t help them, and she should be focused on her WWE Divas championship match, but she’s not. Nikki tries to continue but AJ Lee walks over and says she weaseled her way into the match, and Paige also joins the conversation. She mocks Nikki and tells AJ they can still be friends after this, then they both walk away and Nikki says this might actually be easy.
