WWE Superstar Sheamus recently did an interview with The National in the United Arab Emirates, and he addressed the rumors he would be in the new Star Wars film.Sheamus said the following regarding the rumor:

Basically I went home to Ireland and the crew were filming quite close to me at the time, then all these mad rumours started flying around. I definitely haven’t received a contract, a helmet or a lightsaber yet, but who knows? It might come through the door. I hope it does.

Sheamus also said he did play Darth Vader in a Kellogg’s promotion back in 1999 for Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.

While he doesn’t have a role in Star Wars’ Episode VII, he was in Rupert Wyatt’s 2008 thriller The Escapist and as a Celtic warrior zombie in the 2009 film Assault of Darkness.

Jake Roberts Update

Jake Roberts is looking to be in much better health after being released from the hospital last week. Future Stars of Wrestling owner Joe DeFalco issued the following statement:

After appearing at the Future Stars of Wrestling show, Sat in Las Vegas, Jake showed up Monday at the FSW Training Facility, with his friend Sinn Bodhi. Jake, was feeling and looking much better, than Saturday. He helped with training of the students. He was friendly, ran the ropes himself, and expected the best from the students. He had no problems, letting the kids know exactly how he felt after putting them thru drills. He stayed almost 2 hours, and looks forward to heading back to Vegas.
