New NXT Roster Addition
A new superstar called Dash Wilder has been added to the Superstar profiles section of the WWE website.
Wilder, formally known as Steven Walters on the independent circuit, made his NXT debut in June as has been teaming with Scott Dawson. You can read his profile from WWE.com below:
Dash Wilder says he’s had to fight for everything his whole life and has the scars to prove it. Growing up in the mountains of North Carolina, Wilder quickly learned that the only way to survive was by exploiting the weakness of others. Today, Wilder brings that meticulous nature into the ring. Together with his tag team partner, Scott Dawson, Wilder plans on picking apart the competition in NXT’s tag team division.
NFL Commish Joke
Bill Simmons of ESPN and Grantland recently joked in his Roger Goodell related Mailbag column about how bad of an authority figure the NFL commissioner is.
Simmons wrote that Goodell is so bad at his job that “he’s worse than Vince McMahon during that one XFL season. He’s worse than William Regal. (Inside joke for the WWE nerds.)”
