Daniel Bryan Possibly Returning Even Sooner Than Expected

daniel bryanAs we reported at the beginning of the week, injured WWE star Daniel Bryan was informed he will not require a second surgery, and WWE is targeting three months as an approximate timetable for his return.

In an update on Bryan’s return timeline, it now appears as if he might be able to return to WWE even sooner than originally thought. Brie Bella has been doing Total Divas promotional work as of late, and has noted Bryan is slowly regaining strength in his right arm.

Big Update on WWE’s Plans for Kenta

With regards to Kenta’s debut at NXT Takeover 2 tomorrow, as we previously noted, he will likely not be wrestling a match, but will be making his debut in some fashion, likely in an in-ring segment.

There has been talk of having Ric Flair introduce Kenta to the NXT fans, as pushing the Japanese star is reportedly a big deal in WWE right now.

Having a Japanese superstar of Kenta’s caliber should strengthen the Japanese market for merchandise and the WWE Network.

With regards to Kenta’s backstage attitude in NXT, he is said to be playing the game, and is understanding there is more to WWE than just being a great wrestler. This was a big problem WWE had with the original Sin Cara, who was perceived as acting above WWE, and he put little to no effort into learning English.
