RAW Scheduling Note
As we previously reported, the August 25th episode of RAW will run head to head with the Emmy Awards, which is the first time ever the ceremony running against RAW has happened.
It should be noted that the Emmys generally air in September on a Sunday evening before the ‘official’ start of the new television season, but NBC’s coverage of Sunday Night Football will create a conflict, so the ceremony is moved to the new date.
The four major TV networks rotate Emmy coverage, so the conflict only happens every four years, with NBC last moving the show from September to August in 2010.
Kane Appearance
WWE Superstar Kane is scheduled to appear at the HorrorHound Weekend Convention on Saturday, September 6th in Indianapolis, Indiana. Kane will be on hand for autograph signings and photo opporutnities, but limited tickets are available for the event.
