Big E vs Cesaro (w/ Paul Heyman)
Cesaro rushes the ring and kicks E in the face, then he throws him on the floor and sends him headfirst into the barricade. Cesaro goes for a whip but E reverses it and clotheslines him, then he throws him into the timekeeper's area and goes right after him. Cesaro hits him with a chair and hiptosses him onto the commentary table, then he throws him into the steps. E stops Cesaro from sending him into the ringpost, then he slams Cesaro on the floor and tries to go after him, but Cesaro and some refs break it up.
Result – No Contest
AJ Lee vs Eva Marie
Eva shoves AJ and catches her with a dropkick, then she throws her outside and slams her into the turnbuckles when she reenters the ring. Eva clotheslines her and whips her in the corner, but AJ kicks her in the face and goes for a sleeperhold, but Eva slams her into the turnbuckles. AJ keeps the hold applied so Eva goes for a side slam, but AJ counters with the Widow's Peak for the submission win. Paige enters the ring and claps for AJ, then leaves.
Winner – AJ Lee
BP: Good for what it was; AJ gets a win after becoming champion again, and Eva got enough offense in to make her look somewhat credible. Paige's involvement was awkward, but I guess that was by design.
Damien Sandow comes out dressed as Bruce Springsteen, and tries to pump the crowd up. Rusev cuts him off and gets right in the ring, so Sandow hits him with a few punches. Rusev shakes it off and slams him down, then throws him outside and Lana tells them to shut up. She mocks America's Independence Day customs, then she says no one can truly resist Mother Russia and it's leader, Vladimir Putin. Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter cut them off, and Zeb says he hates illegal immigrants, and illegals who are ungrateful to be there.
Zeb tells Lana he is going to quiz her, and says Russians didn't invent the internet, cars or have the first man on the moon, and Lana screams at him to shut up. Lana calls them swine and Swagger gets in the ring, then Zeb tells Lana to shut up and reminds her of freedom of speech. He says he came to get something straight, and they can settle it right now, but Lana backs Rusev down and Zeb leads the crowd in a 'We The People' pledge. Swagger and Rusev continue to stare each other down, but Rusev ends up backing away and leaving without incident.
BP: Like I said on Monday, this has to be the easiest face turn ever. All the credit goes to the four people in the ring, especially Lana and Rusev for the heat they get. I am excited to see them finally come to blows and see where this goes.
