WWE Smackdown Results (7/4) – Rusev Backs Down From Real Americans, Sheamus vs Alberto, Orton vs Ambrose

Stardust is backstage talking about what a team name means, and he rattles off some examples before Goldust walks in. He says he has to think about how they exist in the universe, and Goldust tries to help him figure it out, but Stardust pauses and runs off. Goldust says he hates when he does that… but loves it, then Stardust runs back over and blows some gold glitter powder in the air.

BP: I pretty much like anything Goldust does, and Cody is just killing it as Stardust. This team, who looks to be getting a name soon, is one of the better things about WWE right now.

Bo Dallas vs Diego (w/ El Torito)

Diego whips Bo into the corner and elbows him, then he goes for a springboard headscissors but Bo sweeps his legs, slamming him headfirst on the mat, before he lifts him and hits a Bo-Dog for the win. Bo cuts a promo on Torito growing bigger, and Torito takes offense and Gores him. Torito taunts him and Bo gets pissed, and hits him before press slamming him on the mat.

Winner – Bo Dallas

Chris Jericho comes out and says it's good to be back, just like Monday's return was, and it was one of the greatest moments of his career. He says a venomous spider ruined it all, and he knows who the Wyatt Family is, and they beat him down, so he wants to thank them. Jericho thanks them for reminding him it's not all about light up jackets and surprises, and he knows this is a dangerous place, and he can be dangerous too. He says the Wyatts don't know him but he is the best in the world at what he does, and they can do whatever they want, but he's going to get crazy. Jericho says he will get nuts and make sure they aren't the same, then the lights cut out and the Wyatts appear on the Titantron.

Bray mocks Jericho for 'saving them', and he formally introduces himself and tells Jericho to save… himself. Bray disappears and Jericho tells him to stop hiding, then The Miz cuts him off and asks how it feels to be interrupted. Miz says Jericho stole his moment, and it's a shame about the Wyatts, and Miz says he could have helped, but Jericho broke the rules. He says Jericho is lucky that his face, the 'money maker', wasn't injured, then he gets in the ring but Jericho drops him with a Codebreaker and leaves.

BP: It will be really cool if they can pull off a three way feud with these guys. All three can talk and wrestle a good match, and I think the dynamic would give the feud life and prevent it from getting stale. Wyatt could probably target Miz's obsession with vanity or something, but it could work. I'm already excited for more and this just started this week.
