Rey Mysterio Contract Update

There is reportedly more to the story regarding Vince McMahon's decision to renew Rey Mysterio's contract on his own without any type of discussion or agreement from Mysterio. In fact, it's being said a legal situation that has yet to play out is even possible.

As we previously reported, Rey Mysterio's contract was set to expire last month, but due to the amount of time he missed as a result of injuries, Vince McMahon renewed his contract for another year. While there was no renewal option included in Rey's previous contract, WWE does have a clause that allows them to suspend contracts due to injury. Vince decided that Rey had missed too much time during his previous contract, so he renewed it for another year. Rey is officially under contract until May of 2015.

Currently, Rey Mysterio is still on the injury list and nothing is being talked about regarding a possible return.

Latest On Undertaker

When asked about a return to WWE, The Undertaker has reportedly been telling people that it's "not looking good".

Undertaker's future has certainly been in question following WrestleMania 30 where his undefeated streak was broken by Brock Lesnar. Taker suffered a concussion during the match, not to mention his general physical health has steadily been getting worse and worse each year, even prior to this year's 'Mania.

While it's clear The Undertaker's career will be coming to an end very soon, if he hasn't already, the fact that he's telling people one thing shouldn't be taken too serious. Most years, Undertaker's decision to work WrestleMania isn't generally decided until a few months prior to the actual event.

It's also worth noting that Taker is apparently back in the gym training.
