5/30 WWE Smackdown Results: Bray Wyatt vs. Jimmy Uso in a Last Man Standing Match, Champion vs. Champion & PPV Go-Home Show

  1. Last Man Standing Match

    Bray Wyatt vs. Jimmy Uso

Wyatt is in total control early on, until the action spills to the outside and Jimmy is able to do some high flying over the ropes. Jey stares down Harper and Rowan as the two fight each other on the floor. Some guy tries to start a Husky Harris chant, and ends up looking like an idiot. They fight around ringside, and Jimmy gets thrown hard into the barricade. This gets a count of four.

The beatdown continues, as Uso has barely had any offense so far. Each time he gets thrown into the barricade the count gets a little bit closer. They roll back into the ring and Wyatt chokes his opponent in the ropes, but the referee can't do anything about it. A small CM Punk chant breaks out, and they actually cut the audio which cuts off the commentary team. You hear somebody say “we're dark, stand by to come back in.” They REALLY don't like Punk chants…

Jimmy gets some boots up out of the corner, giving him a moment of momentum. He tosses Bray over the ropes and Jimmy runs the barricade to take him out. He hits a superkick out of nowhere, and the referee gets to a count of 7. A “this is awesome” chant from a couple of people. Wyatt does his weird spider walk thing and taunts Jey Uso as the crowd tries to get an “U-SO” chant going, which takes off.

They battle up to the top turnbuckle and Bray tries for a superplex, but Jimmy throws him to the floor and hits a Superfly Splash. Wyatt barely gets to his feet by a count of 10, then steamrolls through his opponent with a big splash. They fight to the floor again and Jimmy tries for his Rikishi hip splash into the steel steps, but Wyatt rolls out of the way. He hits Sister Abigal, and this time Jimmy is unable to answer the count.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

KILLAM: A very good match that started off OK and built as it went along. Jimmy Uso came off looking like a star, as he took a main event level player in Wyatt to the limit, in the main event of Smackdown. In total, a very solid episode of Smackdown tonight that built up the mid card titles in a huge way, and put Bray Wyatt on top heading into his Last Man Standing match against John Cena at Payback. Can't ask for much more than that.
