There is concern whether Daniel Bryan will make it back in time for the "Money in the Bank" pay-per-view, reports The Observer, which is the event WWE was originally hoping for following Bryan's neck surgery. The following event would be Battleground on July 20th, and WWE officials are looking at SummerSlam in August as the worst case scenario.
WWE is already working on a contingency plan for MITB in case Daniel Bryan isn't ready by then.
Additionally, it's being said that many wrestlers feel Daniel Bryan should tone down his wrestling style upon returning. While he didn't break his neck (as some reports have suggested), this surgery could be the beginning of some serious and more long-term issues for Bryan.
Some of Bryan's signature moves that would likely go if he did "tone it down" would be his missle dropkick, the topes and his diving headbutt.
