TNA Impact Wrestling Results (5/15) – Triple Threat X Division Title Match, Bully Goes To Dixie’s Home, MVP vs Eric Young

X Division Championship

DJ Z vs Tigre Uno vs Sanada (c)

Zema gets tossed outside before Uno dropkicks Sanada, then Sanada comes back with a hurricanrana before dropkicking the back of his head. Zema runs back in and throws him in the corner, then he connects with some forearms before Sanada floats over and gets a near fall on a rolling cradle. Zema throws some elbows and snaps Sanada's head on the ropes, then he kicks Uno off the apron and chokes Sanada. He knees Sanada in the back, then Sanada comes back with a few strikes before Zema trades chops with him. Uno comes back in with a dropkick, then he splashes both opponents on the floor and throws Zema inside. He heads up top but Zema throws him into the barricade, then Sanada chops Zema and hits a bridging Tiger suplex for the win.

Winner – Sanada

BP: This was a good, fast paced match that was easy to follow but high flying. Good work from all three participants, and glad to see Zema back in the ring.

Samuel Shaw is shown in a psych ward, wearing a straightjacket, when he is told he has a visitor. He asks if it is Christy, but Gunner walks in instead. Gunner leans in and tells Shaw to pay attention, and he could use someone to talk to.

Following this, Dixie Carter calls Spud to find out what is going on, but Bully Ray answers instead and says he is still here. Dixie ends up entering the house and Bully says this is all her fault. Bully says she can end this, and all she has to do is tell everyone she fears him. Dixie starts to say it, but Ethan Carter III knocks him out from behind and Dixie says she fears no one.

TNA World Heayweight Championship

MVP vs Eric Young (c)

Eric jumps MVP at the bell but MVP hits his shoulder, then he sends Eric into the ring steps as we go to a break. We get back to see MVP mock Eric, then Eric connects with a few strikes but MVP sends him back into the corner. MVP goes for a Yakuza kick but Eric ducks and punches him a few times, then he connects with a discus clothesline and follows with a flying forearm. Eric heads up top but Kenny King runs out and attacks him, hitting a Royal Flush as MVP demands to restart the match after the ref rings the bell. King knocks the ref out and goes after Eric, then they both attack him until Bobby Lashley runs out. Lashley goes to attack but ends up spearing Eric, then he hits a Dominator through two chairs before MVP holds the title in Eric's face.

Result – No Contest

BP: A bit overbooked considering King knocked out the ref, after MVP wanted the match restarted. Everything else is fine since they aren't just giving the Slammiversary main event away, but that seemed off. Eric continues to be a fighting champion and underdog. I usually don't like no contest main events like this, but it was appropriate for where they are at in the feud.
